Bik…what?

Bikram Method HOT YOGA is a class designed for all levels.  It is a challenging and exhilarating series of 26 postures practiced in a heated room, which helps to warm the body, allowing you to work deep into your muscles, tendons, and ligaments.  It stimulates the organs, glands, and nervous system in a profoundly beneficial manner. The class moves slowly and each posture is practiced twice so that you have time to learn it properly. Bikram “Hot” Yoga cleanses the body inside and out and makes you look and feel great! Practice in a heated room from 38-42°C. Bikram Yoga burns an average of 750 calories in just 1.5 hours.

It's Hot in Here!

Doing yoga in a hot room proves to have more benefits than doing the normal yoga. Here are some of them:

  • Detoxification and build more mental strength and discipline
  • Keeps the body from overheating (contrary to popular misconception)
  • Protecting the muscles to allow for deeper stretching
  • Detoxifying the body (open pores to let toxins out)
  • Thinning the blood to clear the circulatory system
  • Increasing heart rate for better cardiovascular workout
  • Improving strength by putting muscle tissue in optimal state for reorganization
  • Reorganize the lipids (fat) in the muscular structure
  • In that extreme heat we forge bodies and minds of steel.
  • It will also improve concentration. Your will be trained to stay in a long hot mediation inside the class.  So people learn to discipline their body and mind, under uncomfortable condition of performing challenging poses inside a hot room.
