Get Fit and Energized with Les Mills BODYVIVE!
August 28, 2014

What is BODYVIVE?

BODYVIVE is a group exercise workout that combines strength, cardio and core training. In a 45 – 55 minutes class, we can burn up to 490 calories if we maintain the proper intensity. The exercise mixes body weight training movements like squats and lunges, as well as running and tubing exercises accompanied with upbeat music that’ll get you feeling energized.

BODYVIVE will help you burn a lot of calories and help you develop strength and fitness, but that’s not the only focus here. You’ll also feel the improvement in your energy level, flexibility, balance, agility, and core strength. Susan Trainor, the international program director for Les Mills BODYVIVE, said that 2 perfect reps are better than 10 bad ones. This program will make sure that you’ll master the proper exercise technique and get the correct movements.

Who can join BODYVIVE?

There’s no fitness requirement for this program. As long as you have the motivation to get fitter and healthier and willing to push yourself to your limit, you’ll more than survive the class. The instructors will provide options for all fitness levels. As you train more and more with BODYVIVE, your fitness level, strength, and agility will improve gradually. You’ll be a fitness expert in no time!

What do you need for BODYVIVE classes?

The exercise will utilize mainly your own body weight for training, but there are also parts that use resistance tubes that will be provided for you in class. Just come wearing comfortable workout clothes, proper shoes, a drink bottle, and a sweat towel – and believe you me, you’ll sweat!
