October 3, 2014

Now you can get the full immersive view of Gold’s Gym Indonesia without having to leave your room*! With just a few clicks away, you can have access to a 360-degree panoramic maps of our clubs with the Virtual Experience maps. Constantly on-the-go? Fret not! You can also access the map with your smart phone!

Here’s a tutorial on how to use the map to your full advantage!

To control the map in your desktop and smart phone, there is a yellow and transparent toggle bar on the bottom of the page. To navigate between rooms you can use the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ button on the far right and far left of the bar respectively. You can also view the thumbnails of the rooms available in the maps by clicking the window button next to the ‘previous’ button.

For desktop user, on the middle of the toggle bar, you can navigate your way around the room with the arrows (up, down, left, and right). You also have a freedom to navigate through the room with you track pad, arrow button on your keypad, or with your mouse just the way you would use them to navigate through any website.  If you’re using your smart phone, you can simply navigate by using the touch screen or track pad on your phone. You can also zoom in and out of the room to get a better view of it with the button on the toggle bar or using the track pad or touch screen of your gadget. For a more immersive view, you can make it full screen by clicking on the Fullscreen button next to the zoom out button.

Opening the Virtual Experience on your desktop will give you the ability to change the viewing mode of the maps, from Fisheye view to Little Planet view, giving you an even more immersive experience! A right click on the map will make the drop down menu appear, which will give you Fullscreen mode settings and several choices to change the viewing mode. Here are the viewing mode options:

1.    Normal view: the normal view with no added effect.

2.    Fisheye view: a wide panoramic view, which magnifies the center of the map.

3.    Stereographic view: an ever wider panoramic view than Fisheye view, but with areas close to the edge retain their shapes.

4.    Architectural view: Similar to the normal view, but with more focus on the architectural view of the room.

5.    Pannini view: a wide, cylindrical projection, which keeps straight lines straight and vertical, but with a wide horizontal field.

6.    Litte Planet view: 360 degrees spherical panorama view making the room resembles a little planet.

Want to see other clubs as well? There’s a drop down menu on the upper left part of the page where you can just choose other clubs to go to and it will bring you straight to the map of the club of your choice.
