A big and strong arm gives more confidence to men and is a nice addition that can be a plus
point in the women’s eyes. Here are the 7 exercise that you can try at Gold’s Gym to get a big
and strong arm:

1. Chin-Up
Other than training your arm, chin-up movement trains your back muscle so you will get
a better back to arm ratio. Chin-up is considered as an advanced movement and can
only be executed if you have an ample upper body strength however, if you are able to
master the chin-up it will be your greatest arsenal in building your other body parts.

2. Dumbbell Curl
Probably the most popular arm exercise in the whole world, dumbbell curl is one of the
easiest arm exercise that can be done anywhere, anytime and can even be done without
a dumbbell–grab a water bottle for example. Dumbbell curls serves as a good accessory
exercise after your main lift of the day.

3. Preacher Curl
Similar to dumbbell curl, preacher curl is done by using EZ bar with a specially designed
bench. Preacher Curl can be combined with dumbbell curl or dip movement to achieve

strength especially your pectorals and triceps. Dips movement can be done with only
bodyweight or additional weight. Dips movement will strengthen either your pectorals or
your triceps depending on the angle of your body when you do it.

5. Military Press
Essential for shoulder muscle, military press can be done with a standard 20KG bar.
With arm holding the bar shoulder with near the collar bone, press overhead and reset.
Repeat this movement for 10 reps x 5 sets and feel the burn on your shoulders. Add
more weight if you think an empty bar is easy.

If you ever stop by at a gym on Monday afternoon, you must have seen fitness goers did
a lot of bench press. Bench press is on of the three big lifts in powerlifting that can help
